NOFS EARNS MI RIGHT TO LIFE ENDORSEMENT
Battle Creek, MI—Mike Nofs, candidate for the 19th state Senate seat, today announced that he has received the endorsement of the Right to Life of Michigan PAC for the upcoming August 4th primary.
The announcement came in a letter from Right to Life Michigan President Barbara Listing and PAC Chairman Paul Miller which thanked Nofs for his pro-life commitment to the protection of human life, born and unborn.
Nofs said that he is honored to once again receive the RTL-PAC endorsement. “The right to life, granted by God and enshrined in our Declaration of Independence, is fundamental and precious,” Nofs said. “As a legislator and person of faith, I take my oath to protect that right very seriously. I appreciate the support of Right to Life Michigan PAC and the thousands of pro-life citizens it represents.
Nofs is running for the open 19th District Senate seat which encompasses all of Calhoun and the majority of Jackson counties. Governor Granholm has called for a special primary election on August 4th, 2009, with the general election to take place on November 3rd, 2009.
